A warm summer breeze

Warm on my skin 

The feeling of the salty air

With the sun hitting my chin

Driving down the road

My hands in the air

The top down on the car

No feeling can compare

Spending all day outside

And coming back to take a nap

Sunburnt skin and the sounds of waves

Keeps sleep in a trap

Bonfires and friends

Late sunsets with a colorful sky

Spending all day and night with friends

And staring at the stars way up high

The best time of year

The transition of summer into fall

Gives me all these feelings

Each day a new memory made eventually to recall
