Sensory Vignette
When I go driving with friends,
It feels like you are just flowing through the air,
Hovering above the ground.
The smell of gas at the gas station,
Seeing the open roads in the dark,
It feels like we are the water flowing in a river.
The music coming through the speakers,
Hearing the tires on the ground,
Hitting the bumps in the roads.
We all are having fun,
We all are excited,
We want to keep going forever.
Going out and getting food,
All talking about how nice it was,
Talking about the night being euphoric.
As the night ends we all drive home,
We put the cars in our garage,
We all fall asleep with smiles on our faces.
