Nineteen
Last night, I had had my fill
All eighteen years of tears and pain
Formed in bicolored pills
As the house shook with the thundering rain
Nineteen, Nineteen little circles
Could make me fall asleep
Next to me brushed a journal
Tears stained pages smudged the words carved deep
In my other held a silver blade
Red lines dotting my skin
And the reality starts to fade
Nineteen pages
Nineteen cuts
Nineteen pills
To never reach Nineteen years
