The Moon Child
Sweet lullabies of warm colors send her back to Earth,
From the stars where she lay her head at night
Where galaxies dance around her body in untold rhythms,
Wrapping her in soft textures, winding her up in dreams
The moon cradles her like the child she is
Rocking her to sleep with the stars
Hushing her with suppressed songs of the night
