B-bye Fredi...
Fredi, a miniature panther.
Someone that was a commander.
Eyes, green like a leaf,
Yellow like daffodils.
You steal everyone’s heart like a thief.
One lucky cat to live the luxury of beverly hills.
Paw before paw, you strut as if you were on a runway.
You were too lazy to play.
It feels like it was just yesterday,
But now the memories are history.
I was hoping to see you again,
Just to have my heart shatter into a million pieces.
One look at you and numbness over takes the pain.
I remember the sounds of your little sneezes.
I knew something was wrong, should’ve said something.
I hope the 15 years treated you well.
I can’t stand the fact that I can’t hear your littling humming.
You’ll be able to see your brother and my grandpa with faint sounds of church bells.
Sending you off into the sky, releasing your soul.
It pains me to not be able to give you a proper goodbye,
What feels like it was just yesterday,
Is now history.

This poem is about me admiring my cat, Fredi, and then mentioning how it broke my heart finding out that he had passed away knowing, that I might have been able to do something against it. Since I had a gut instinct that something was off. The poem also breifly mentions how I regreted not being able to say a proper goodbye, but knowing his soul was now with my grandpa and Fredi's brother. Goodbye Fredi <3
