what if we’re like butterflies

The only way I know how to describe it is like being on a playground.

When you're already so exhausted, but still decide to go for the monkey bars

When your hands begin to slip, and you're losing grip

Except for me it's like a fall to death, feels like one last breath

I'm barely holding on and begging for help, but no ones there

They don't see the fall below me, they see the ground

But there I am with my slippery fingers, and without the strength to pull myself up

It makes me want to sleep getting so weak, so exhausted I feel like falling

I only have the strength to hold myself, I need help getting back up

That's something I lack, so here I am

With my slippery fingers, seeking help

I think everyone knows how to relate to being on a playground as a kid, but thats how I feel the older I get.
