Sleep Paralysis
I wake up, drenched in sweat. Trying to catch my breath I lay in my bed panting.
Now trying to get up out of my bed, I realize something.
I am stuck. I AM stuck. I AM Stuck.
What is wrong with me? Why do I feel so heavy? Why is it so dark?
Then out of the left corner of my eye I see a figure.
A disgustingly dark, lean man stands above me.
Panicking now I immediately scream for help. Not knowing what to do.
Mom! Mom! Where are you? Please help me!
Only an eerie silence fills my room.
My screams only making him angrier as he begins to climb onto my bed.
He then proceeds to stand on my chest suffocating me.
Trying to see his face I see nothing but darkness.
I begin praying to God hoping that whatever is happening to me will end as abruptly as possible.
I close my eyes trying not to cry not knowing if I am going to die.
Opening them again only to realize the figure is gone.

I have experienced sleep paralysis, and I have been wanting to put it in to words for some time. This is the closest representation from the experiences that I have had.
