To My Creation
Seven laborious days
Seven toiling nights
She lies, swaddled in lush landscape
Twinkling, cosmic dust consumes her sky
With My hands I created thee
Precious in My sight
Ev’ry star, ev’ry worm, ev’ry tree
I crafted for thee
But O’ how corrupt is My creation!
Lapis sky now joins the horizon, shielded by
A billowing curtain
Poisonous particles swarm her seas
O’ My creation, you have betrayed Me!
My animations lie tainted, in tatters
Combat in her creeks
How could thee, My creation?
For if you do not renew me
It is that one day all will cease
