Why
Why must we argue and fight?
Is there a reason for this plight?
War and famine, death and destruction
All it's causing is tears and guilt
Arguments big and small-
Families fighting
Families crying-
But why?
We ask this daily, and yet we all know the answer
It's natural.
It's natural for us to hate and destroy
It's natural for us to blame and backstab-
But why?
Did God create us for His entertainment?
Or is it a bigger plan?
I know why.
We are all lab rats, destined to repeat war.
No matter how hard you try, you cannot escape the truth.
Mankind is horrid, and Humanity doesn't exist.
Life is a joke, from beginning to end-
Even though we never truly end.
That's right- we never end.
instead, we are forced to stay and watch mankind fail-
And in the background, you can hear God's cruel laughter.
