What comes after a fall?

Do one rise up again
bouncing like buckwheat?
Or deflate like a popped balloon-
Shredded to pieces?
Do one lay in the sun?
Lazily sunbathing-
without worry and pain?

Perhaps one stays stationary
becoming part of the earth.

Or do they move ahead?
