Images of melting rocks dance and sway as I move closer to a psychedelic experience.

I walk along the striped lines of white and black.

They led me to the stairway that doesn't have an ending, lead me to the gates of the sky.

The colors of reds, yellows, and oranges play in my eyes as though they had been born to play forever.

The feeling of warmth on my heated face keeps my eyes open to the sight of the melting rocks, they make me think of life on another planet.

Sharp, smooth, feelings of awe and delight fill my heart with kisses of rust all in my mind.

I move my dead limbs to the top of the rugged, heavy hill.

A vast empire of red and yellows over miles of land.

Sticking up like splinters in the earth that were there from the start of time. I imagine the stories they could tell from animals they have come across or skies they have met.

As I make my way down, I stand in the palm of the rock.  It stands with pride, with the clear blue sky dripping into the crevasse of rocks.

I make my way down the stairway that seems to have no bottom, with the white and black stripes leading me back.

Never looking forward, I keep on the white and black stripes.

I am in a trance that keeps my eyes spinning but always on focus to rocks as new faces on the rocks show.

Almost on dry lower ground, I still am in my trance in awe of the rocks that drive me insane.  I think of the rocks themselves.

These drippy rocks always have a story from me, though they have many stories to tell and I have my own story of the melting rocks that bleed into the earth.
