Childhood Bestfriend

My best friend, a lively pal

More energy than anyone yet lazy as hell

Loving me unconditionally even when I feel weak

Your silence says a thousand words, for you cannot speak

I wish you can come wherever I go

But it is your duty to stay and guard the home

I know you worry but I always return well

Do not dwell on my temporary farewell

You always wonder where I’m going

But when I return we build each others serotonin

I never met another who makes me feel like you do

If we’re not each other's soulmates then mine would be who?

We grow up together, from youth till now

A life spending without you, is a life i couldn’t allow

I question the pain you hold within you

For your silence shows strength of all that you get through

And you’re willing to put our happiness above your own needs

Until it is time when someone yells “feed”

I love my little girl

So chubby and small

I look forward to our nap times when you cuddle up with me in a ball

Your snores are tolerable for I admire you fully

Our connection on a deeper level we understand each other souley

My heart cannot take the thought of letting you go

For your warm presence is all that I’ve ever known

I never knew the one who would truly be there most for me

Is the one who just listens, and never speaks

Till death do us part I know it will not be the end

Our bond is so sacred we are destined to meet again

This piece indirectly gives clues that my childhood bestfriend is not human.
