Alone
Curled up on the couch he lay shaking,
His mind possessed by his own anger.
The rain pours down outside,
As do the tears in his eyes.
No pain comes from the wounds on his knuckles,
But a great sorrow comes from his heart.
In this massive, violent, burning world,
He stands alone, struggling on the inside.
He runs back and forth through his mind,
With no luck to figure out what’s wrong with himself.
Nobody sees him suffering,
Nobody hears him yelling.
He is screaming out for help,
Yet his lips stay sealed.
