Celebrating Life
In the new America era,
We all celebrate differently,
We celebrate life and we celebrate death.
This time we celebrated the presidential escort of
Someone long awaited.
The years that passed have been both hectic and mesmerizing,
We have gone through so much and still
Have more to go
But nonetheless we seem to savour every moment
Especially moments where Lady Gaga is singing
When we begin to to notice moments
Of “Celebrating America”
There are others we don’t celebrate
There are times we don’t recognize
But the times we do
We come together and we
Celebrate events such as
National MLK Day of Service
We have memorials for those that didn’t make it
We celebrate them because at some point in their life
They celebrated with us
In the years to come there will be “more celebrations”
Hopefully celebrating more life than death

I enjoy writing especially when it comes to fiction because I'm allowed to use my imagination and I'm not restricted by characteristics or a certain setting.
