Honey
Love buzzes around our heads,
overwhelming us with its constant noise.
Often unwanted and evasive,
with its nimble twists and turns.
Flying just out of your grasp,
teasing you with its uncertainty.
Then scaring you with its suddenness,
and quickly flitting away,
forgotten as quickly as it appeared.
Gone when the sky is gloomy and frigid,
Yet with radiance and warmth it returns.
Eager to venture out from its hive,
and spread its wings to fly,
Love is a bumblebee.
