No Longer Taking Orders MAG
I’m not going to
sweeten my words
for you anymore.
I’m not going to
add a spoonful of sugar and a
“sorry”
every time I have something to say
that’s too loud for you.
I’m not going to
dilute my opinions
for you anymore.
I’m not going to
pour cream over my assertions
and turn them into questions
every time my confidence isn’t palatable enough for you.
And if my bitterness is too much to swallow,
I hope you burn your tongue.
I’m not taking orders from you.
