Camping
As I investigate the sky,
The full moon glowing
On me like a natural nightlight,
Watching the shooting stars
Go by like jet flies,
My eyes closing
While hearing the wolves howl,
Slowly I fall asleep,
Sinking into the confusion of tonight’s dreams.

I am a 7th grade student from South Carolina. When I’m not in school, I enjoy doing art and writing poems. I enjoy writing poems because it’s very calming and relaxing. I also like to listen to Billie Eilish, I LOVE graphic novels, and I also like dancing. This poem is to share the peace of camping.
