Eyes
I always wanted blue eyes
But learned from a poem
That my eyes are the soil,
Which helps the plants grow
Along with being gold.
Her eyes are the waves
That carry the storms and
crush the boats.
Although her eyes are unique and blue,
I learned to appreciate the ones I have.

I am a 7th grade student from South Carolina. When I’m not in school, I enjoy doing art and writing poems. I enjoy writing poems because it’s very calming and relaxing. My main goal for my deeper poem like “Eyes” is for people to feel that they are special in their own way I also like to listen to Billie Eilish, I LOVE graphic novels, and I also like dancing.
