Sick and Tired
Sick and tired of growing up afraid
We’re workin hard, but we never really get paid
You think I’m weak, naw man, see, I’m Afraid
Afraid of the world lying in the coffin that you made.
Sick and tired of growing up so worn out
See, we’re just kids, can we get a break and play now?
Or would that make it too hard for you too keep us down?
My apologies for speaking, but I will not bow.
Sick and tired of havin so much responsibility
Do school, and homework, save the world to the best of your ability
Is that too hard for you? I guess that you need more sleep
Sleep, yeah, dream on, I don’t have time, and that’s not happening.
Sick and tired of the world feeling so broken
A jigsaw puzzle, 8 billion pieces, I hope you’re copin’
We shouldn’t have to be made to feel like we were chosen
We should have the time to sit around and just make jokes and
Things shouldn’t be this way.
