when i think of my future,
for the first time,
i know what i want.
never before could i see myself
walking down the aisle.
never before could i see myself
in the life i always wanted.
and then you came along
and suddenly,
without warning,
the future that always seemed so gray
appeared in the most vivid colors.
suddenly,
it was clear.
i couldn’t see my future because i hadn’t met it yet.
i couldn’t see my future because my future
is you.
