Living in the Sun
Living in the sun
Standing tall and strong.
Although I lean a bit.
I crave water.
I look up and get taller as the sun goes up.
I no longer gleam yellow and orange hues when the moon goes up.
Some people might just say I mirror the sun.
Some even say I’m something that brings them joy.
Sometimes I’m so tall I look down upon people.
The sun makes me the happiest.
I might be what makes you happiest.
I’m your yellow.
I’m your sunflower.
