Sandy
Through my heart and my eyes, love is detected
When I look at her, I see her love for me.
Through her efforts and thoughts I have never felt neglected
You and I can both agree
That the love from a mother is all that one needs
The sacrifices she makes,
And the heart she feeds
This could top any heartbreak
And pain beyond the surface.
Because a mother knows just by looking
The flames that grow bigger than a furnace
They're all but unhooking
But she keeps it together
Although you don’t know.
She treats it as though it’s a light feather,
When her mind knows its heavy cargo.
But she does it for us,
To relieve the pains
And without our trust
There would be no gains
For the love that my mother gives, lives inside of me
And I hope she would read this and always agree.
