Have you ever felt the soft grass under your feet?

Have you ever felt its leaves binding like strings?

I wish I did; I wish to be free.

Have you ever seen the snow spread like a white sheet?

Like a dusty veil covering the cobblestone path

Have you ever felt the ornate pattern of a snowflake melting in your hands?

I wish I did; I wish to be free.

The answers we so desperately seek,

Did you ever feel you were close?

You wish you did; you wish to be free.

The path we take, does it really lead to our destination?

Or, to just more questions?

We wish it did; we wish to be free.

Alas! Free we are not

Not from the hands of Fate,

Not from the scythe of Time,

Not from the infinite questions

The truth we seek, the bliss we search for

 Lost in some forgotten language,

Buried deep in the sands of time,

Lies everything we are looking for.

It may take years to search for it,

To scour the earth, to light the fire,

To find thyself

But we will keep fighting together,

To shine bright forever.
