barricade
she barricaded her emotions within
she wanted to let herself feel the volume of sadness, of anger, of worthlessness
she barricaded her emotions within
she tried to make herself cry, but over what?
she barricaded her emotions within
she saw everyone else melting into their emotions about the smallest thing
she barricaded her emotions within
months passed by, october leaves were falling
she barricaded her emotions within
cold december walks and a tear dropped
are my emotions barricaded within?
it’s February and i can’t take it anymore
are my emotions barricaded within?
march and i had a good cry
my emotions aren’t barricaded within
i’m so tired
