Nature & Society
In nature, there is silence and tranquility;
But behind it all,
The most aggressive survival competitions are happening in the shades, Where all are too careless and ignorant to see.
Among all participants,
Only the strongest have the best shot at winning,
Nonetheless, there are always some stronger ones to overtake those, Who used to be the strongest.
To live as a winner or to die as a loser?
Some one calls it a natural process,
While I see it as an ordinary life,
The one not so different than mine as a human being.
I work hard,
to compete with my fellow peers;
I study hard,
To have more opportunities in the future;
I live a hard life,
To make sure among all my generations,
I ain’t the wimpy one that society abandons.
To those animals, they live harshly in nature;
To me, I live a hard life in society.

This poem is my belief that humans living in society are not that different from the animals in nature. Just like animals, we fight to get ahead and obtain happiness. We work the systems in society for our survival.
