as i lie here awake not wanting to be here
i try to sleep and get lost in my dreams
a dream to be somebody
a dream to be wanted
a dream to be loved again
a dream to be important
and a dream to be a star
but the darkness in my head
leads me back to the start
and i try to dream once again
