Cold December Mournings
Cold December morning,
as I drag myself out of bed, and to the bus
the sun just barely peeks over the harsh horizon,
bringing light and casting long shadows down the drive
but my heart aches and longs still,
on this cold December morning

This poem is up to interpretation, whatever the reader thinks the character is longing and aching for is what will be. This poem is based on my personal experience of waiting for the bus every morning for school.
