The boy swiftly walks down the darkened

Hallway, He leaves the lab dark to not alert

His knocked out father, The boy knows

he must be quick

The boy grabs a beaker and opens his dads cabinet,

Grabs the chemical his dad used today

And pours an eight count into the glass

Dashes a dark liquid that his dad says will

Turn him bitter, and drops some rocks in with it--

The Boy sits for a second admiring his mix.

He plugs his nose and tips his head back, his

Nose hairs aren't singed like his fathers.

He smiles at his recurring discovery.

Now he can rest.

This poem was just made to create a thought about how the enviorment a child grows up in can effect their own desicions in life.
