An Ode to my Window
I’ve got a deep appreciation for my window
I’ve got just a single one in my room
It allows the sunlight to shine through
And the breathable fresh air to clear the room
It protects me from the elements
The frigid winds and the powerful storms
The window allows me to see the beauty that's outside
Whether it’s the crisp fall morning
Or the new set of wheels I bought last week
Without windows
There would be no natural sunlight or warmth.
Without windows
I would feel lonely
Without windows
I’d have no connection to the outside world
Without windows
Life would just be
Dark
