childhood innocence
sometimes i look in the mirror
i wonder what happened to the little girl who spent hours playing with her barbies
or the girl who ran around the playground in a daydream
but life changed
it’s hard to not feel without the use of drugs
i cant leave my bad as if i am chained down
i wonder if there will be a tomorrow for me
or if these are my last hours
my last hours spent high , with tears glistening upon my skin
crying out for help
