Melancholic seasons
The cool summer breeze sighed in dire
A sorrowful winter danced in the scorching fire
The rain’s teardrops were tired fulfilling its desire
The world aspires what people can’t acquire
Season’s in a fever
In this madness, the towns shiver
Screaming voices that waver
Intrigue minds are ne’er clever!
Human robin’s game knows no shame
Accusing prejudice in their name
Knowledge not valued as fame
Burning everything in flame
In December, a tang1 of morning dew
Painting deep and dull as black and blue
Staring in the vague pool of rue
Stoic face in pale hue
Wearing cloaks that leers and giggles
Dirty robes around entangles
Wrangled in your struggles
Such folly in every angles!
In the field, seeds that you gather
Little grasses slowly wither
Burden not light as a feather
Rusty shovels digging up further
Autumn leaves that are dry
Watching robins pass by
Wry smiles seen by the sky
Cynical on how each pry
In the mist of royal night,
Beyond was a blind wight1
Darkness lurks beside the foresight
Carving behind the moonlight
In the ground, I lay still
Reminiscing yesterday’s will
Today is another day to fill
Just like today’s drill
Slumber in nature’s sound
Restless chains around
In the land of lost and found,
Was everything bound?
