Oh, How Time Flies
High school is like one big roller coaster ride,
full of ups and downs,
and twist and turns.
Starting at the bottom as a freshman,
the adventure seems exciting and scary.
Fresh faces, new buildings, new friends, and countless new activities.
Speeding around the corner comes sophomore year with classes
going nice and smooth.
You are familiar with the school, your teachers, and fellow classmates.
As you begin climbing up the hill,
you reach Junior year which includes many unforeseen challenges
and enjoyable memories.
The first year going to prom, taking the ACT, and being considered an upper-classman.
Before you realize it, the ride is almost over,
and you have come upon your senior year.
Filled with a collection of all your lasts and tearful goodbyes.
As one reflects on their memorable ride,
many wish they could hop on just one more time.
