Snow days
January 16, 2020
As the snow started to pile up
I would sit by the tv and wait for hours,
When finally I was forced to bed
But before that i had a few things to do
First I would put my pjs on backwards
Then I would place a spoon under my pillow
I woke up to ten inches of fresh white powder
The buttery sweet smell of waffles
And an awesome day off
But the excitement didn't stop there
My brother and I rushed into or rooms after breakfast
Putting on as many layers as we could
When our mother said we were going sledding
To us those were the best words ever

For class I had to write a flashback Poem,one of my fondest memory’s of my childhood was snow days.I would hope and pray for snow just so I didnt have to go to school,and I could play all day.
