Oh sweet television, for which I have spent so many hours
When my parents see me with it, their expressions turn sour
You offer so much
Instant recreation with a touch
Entertainment for a whole bunch
All that is required is for the remote to be clutched
You offer relief to boredom
I am away from you seldom
You offer fun even while alone
So I don’t have to play on my phone
You give and give but do not take
I only need to plug you into the wall for your sake
You open up the world to me
I could not live without you oh TV
