i wish i could go
back in time
with what I know now.
i wish i could go
back in time
and fully live
not wanting to be
a year older,
not just living for the next stage.
i wish i could go
back in time
to the girl who hated
what she saw in the mirror,
who hated who she saw
when she looked inward.
i wish I could go
back in time
and tell her who she is
how much she is worth
the incredible things she will do
as much as i wish I could go
back in time,
maybe, what i need,
is for someone to go
back in time,
for me.
