An Autumn Evening
A breath of fresh air,
While standing there to stare.
The leaves are falling,
The birds are calling.
The breeze flows with ease,
While trees beginning to tease.
It will not last,
But that doesn’t mean the time has passed.
Enjoy the evening glow,
Before the winter snow.

Autumn is my favorite season. I often forget to enjoy it, and before I know it, winter has already begun. This poem was a way for me to step back and enjoy the little things that Autumn brings.
