Like Sun Work
Have a crush on me in the morning
When dry toothpaste grazes my chin
Maybe then I’ll shoot you a smile
When the stars have become has beens
Call me like caffeine rings me
wake me up like the sun
I feel the way your bees sting
there’s no where else to run
Serve me a kiss by lunch time
Eyeliner still sleeping on my lids
Hunger hurting my stomach
Watching me break, was your greatest gift
Lets couple up at sunset
Orange-Pink hues setting the mood
Forget that I broke this six hours ago
Just leave all our past at noon
Light me up this evening
Show and tell all our flaws
suddenly we’re a problem
suddenly I’m the cause
Embrace reality at dusk time
Look at your reflection in the moon
Tell me you aren’t sorry
You always knew the truth
Realize your words impaired me
Shattered glass surrounding us
How can I see this so clearly?
We’ll try again at dawn
