growth
I begin as a petite seed,
small in size
At first glance
you’d never guess that I’d rise like I rise
But eventually,
you’ll realize,
The beginning is simply a disguise.
months of nurturing and exposure to sunrise,
surprise;
I rise
I’ve evolved
Effortlessly i've stolen your eyes
You’re hypnotized.
In other words
I’m different now
I’ve grown
Not solely in size
but also from the inside
My vibrant petals high five the skies
It was all a disguise
