Christmas is the most wonderful time of year

Everyone walking around full of cheer

So many things that you can buy

And waiting for Santa when he flies by

Families wait for days to come

When they can be together all as one

Gathering from here and there

All arriving in a pair

Then they sit by the fire nice and warm

To get away from the snowstorm

But when that snow is all gone

Flowers spread across the lawn

The tables are filled with a great feast

And the honey glazed ham is gone at the least

The tree is full of ornaments and lights

With stockings full of candy and all things nice

Presents are given to all that are near

And tearing them open without a fear

When I look inside and see what I see

Will never be better than my big, happy family

Everyone’s laughter fills you with glee

This is the perfect Christmas to me

The perfect Christmas is different for everyone

But as long as you always have fun

Christmas should be a great time of year

With all of your loved ones gathered near
