Her Stare
Across the hall, I see a transparent girl
Drifting along while staring silently at me
No words
No movements
Just silent stares
Her gaze reminds me
Of a time where stress
And fear
And exhaustion ruled
Through her stare
Where my time was spent
Not for myself
Or my mind
But for her
And all her needs
Where my mind was spent
Not on the homework due tomorrow
Or the exciting events that were soon to happen
But on focussing on her state of mind
Which you could see through her stare
In this moment
When I see the transparent girl
Staring back at me
I know that she is simply
A ghost in my life now

Sometimes friendships aren't healthy and you are forced to end them. And that is ok.
