Oral Testing
I sat there just thinking,
Interlinking the french to english words in my brain.
Pain in the left side of my forehead,
Of unsaid words I can’t think of.
My right foot is an earthquake
Moving my whole body,
My hands sweat nervously,
Worriedly thinking i’m going to be too shy,
Why can’t I think straight?
My name is called,
My appalled tomato face walks up,
Building up the courage
to speak.
I squeak
the words out,
I doubt
every word I said was right.
