Hurt
My heart solidifies when your black boots decide to break the ground and make the earth shake.
Remember when you used to look into my hazel, green eyes and sigh at my words?
Remember when my lips pressed against yours,
softly,
like fingers to a page of a love poem?
Do you even
remember the tears that flowed
to my lips,
when you said: “You’re not the one I want anymore”?
You don’t remember my smile though,
you only remember my breasts.
You don’t remember the curves of my face,
only the curves of my body.
But you will remember this,
I am not a yo-yo,
today I cut that string
that tied me to your lies,
we’re done for good this time.
