After a while, you learn the difference
Between hard work or hardly working
You learn that hard work does pay off
And you begin to learn that
All the love and time becomes a bond
And kisses aren’t always made of love
You start to accept the awards
And you learn to take your defeat
And turn it into success
After a while, you learn that placing isn’t everything
