I’m hurt beyond words
Because I fear you dream of him sleeping next to me.
What happened to all the good times?
Where did they go?
Planning out our lives as if we had a clue
Back when you’d laugh at my jokes before the punchline
Back when we watched cartoons until 3 am
Back when we kissed for a brief moment as your parents turned around
Back when you loved me...
Maybe in another life
We’ ll really figure things out
