Alcohol.
Sour, bitter, numbing.
It can make the warmest people turn cold.
Late-night drive results in disaster.
The red and blue lights
Become blurred through tears.
Loud voices, sirens.
Day time confusion, late-night sadness.
Letters sent but not returned
Unanswered questions lead to hurt
But an ice-cold drink sounds good, right?
1, 2, a few too many drinks.
It can make the warmest people turn cold.
