Life
I have felt so happy,
Where I scream,
Uncontrollably.
I have felt sad,
Where I just want to sit there,
And stare at nothing.
I’ve driven in Arizona,
My happiest place,
With not a worry on my mind.
I’ve heard the loud roar of thunder,
Shake the whole house.
I’ve ran from the storm to the train station,
Sprinting and laughing with my sisters,
Trying to beat the warm Chicago rain in summer,
Crying laughing, feeling so grateful.
I’ve screamed at the top of my lungs,
When a spider dropped
Right
In
Front
Of
My
Face
In the shower.
I’ve been so unmotivated
To get out of my bed
Cold mornings, warm bed,
Snuggled up, running late
Who am I kidding,
That’s every morning…
Snooze
I’ve danced
Floating,
Telling a story,
Ripped holes in my contemporary shoes, oops.
I’ve felt on top of the world,
Winning tennis matches,
Crushing the ball,
“In”.
I’ve felt grateful
On my birthday
With my whole family
Opening a gift from my dad, a book.
So funny, I cry, we all cry,
Laughing so hard, tears roll,
Moments like that, are unforgettable,
I’m happy, surrounded by love,
Positive family and good friends.
Almost all I’d ever want, I have.
I’m happy.
