Dear Father

I tell you sincerely,
I wished for this divorce.
I once was scared
that you wouldn’t love me.
I once was sad
when you left,
for days on end.
Twice,
I thought to myself,
why can’t you be like
the other fathers.
More than twice,
have you let me down.
I have lost words
for you
a man
who I will never call
father.
