Oh, My Sweet Aunt Sally
My aunt Sally is honorable indeed;
her advice is the best, which I heed.
She is serviceable to many through her work as a nurse.
She is headstrong, but at times her stubborn rebukes may be terse.
She reassures me that there is always sunshine after a storm.
When I am feeling down, I call on her and now it seems like the norm.
Never full of greed,
she loves to give to those in need.
She spoils me without a care.
For her to be rude, is very rare.
She is graceful and intelligent.
She has a youthful look, despite her older age, and is very elegant.
My aunt Sally never fails to do a good deed.
She is always willing to take initiative and lead.
When she went through hardships and illness,
she prayed and persevered with fearlessness.
I will always look up to her and her smart, kind ways;
empowering through her wondrous gaze,
Artistic view of the significance of life
She threads optimistically through life’s strife.
