A Woman and A Monster
How dark this world is, because we share it with monsters. A place where I was born, a place where you were born. A place where the monsters inhabited. I believe that earth was created by holy hands with a holy purpose. Then an infestastion flooded what was once meant for love. Now filled with hate and sin. Oh how I wish there was a way to repair what has been done. To start fresh. Everytime, I read an article about how a woman gets raped. I am instantly furious. What makes a man believe in his mind, that a woman was made to be his pleasure toy? What gives him the right to take something valuable away from her? I often think of my own experiences and why I don't trust men. Why I have distanced myself from them? My grandmother always told me that "Men is the Devil" and she was right. I have endured what I imagined was hell. I can only visualize the trauma these women go through. My compassion for each one grows as I view the news often. I share my tears with them. I say a silent prayer for their healing and for them to continue to be strong....
