Buried in The Snow
He once told me,
When it snows,
The world becomes quiet,
Because the snow absorbs sound.
I wasn’t sure what he meant,
But then I realized…
Maybe he loved the quiet,
Because when it’s quiet,
Life is peaceful and less chaotic.
Or maybe,
He just wanted to be alone.
But I simply smiled and said,
Snow is so beautiful.
He nodded his head,
And then he walked away.
While his feelings remained
Buried in the snow.
